My wife c-section delivery is 14.1.2023 after the c-section after the 8 month periods start, if I do have intercourse safety protection use or not?

Precaution should always be used . Now once she has resumed her periods she might have ovulation and hence menstruation . So chance of conception can’t be ruled out
