Insomnia or sleep disturbance is a symptom and can occur due to many causes like physical illness, chronic pain, stress, Mental hearth conditions like anxiety and depression. We need to understand the underlying cause and treat the cause rather than just focusing on insomnia.please try some sleep hygiene techniques like regular exercise and meditation,relaxation techniques like deep breathing, restricting use of nicotine caffeine and alcohol, keeping the room comfortable,and no screen time at night. Please see a psychiatrist for further help.
