Sir and Ma'am, Can we take Zolfresh 10 or 5 for chronic insomnia or any other meds. Pls suggest. Tried all techniques and some related meds, nothing worked. Pls guide as only zolfresh helped for a week. Thanks and Regards

Need lifestyle change and psychological review. Insomnia could be multi factorial and it cannot simply by a short history presented.

Taken for long, it can cause nausea, day time lethargy, impaired memory. More importantly, it can cause habituation, where  existing dose becomes ineffective and insomnia can be aggravated. Tab quitipine25 two+ tab clonazepam 0.5  one after dinner at 9-9.30 pm. No TV, no screen no newspaper  there  after. Just walk n go to sleep. I m a known case of  chronic  insomnia  followed by  heart attack.  Treated by psychiatrist n prescribed  the medicine.

It’s a sedative drug so not recommended for long use. You can try changing you schedule and sleep less for 1 days. You ‘ll feel sleepy next day. Don’t eat or drink anything 2 hrs before going to bed. Sleep in a cold and dark room if possible. Stay away from caffeine containing products. Do exercise daily. You can start taking ashwagandha if you want but it’s herbal so its effect start after 6 weeks. Take daily before bed.
