In rare cases, dasatinib can cause difficulty in breathing, shortness of breath, cough, or other respiratory symptoms, better to consult with your oncologist. Condition like pulmonary edema , pulmonary artery hypertension are rarely seen with dasatinib , which can cause these symptoms . The drug you had taken imatinib is prone for producing interstitial lung disease which can cause all these symptoms , so better to consult with your oncologist , he may have changed your drug due to any such findings .
But if it’s difficult ,consult with your nearest available doctor , he can help you rule out other causes, please give him this history . Also he can examine you and give you any required emergency care according to the cause .
