IgA Nephropathy is due to a genetically abnormal forming IgA molecule which is not being recognized by
liver and so not being effectively removed from blood. When it is in excess because of not being removed effectively, it deposits in the
kidney and damages the filters, causing protein leak in Urine and progressive kidney disease. There is no permanent solution to it, because IgA will be produced by our body as it is part of our immune system, to some extent we can reduce the production by suppressing the immune system. Thus we can retard the progression of kidney disease. You need to see a Nephrologist for systematic control of all the parameters that affect kidneys and close follow up will be required
