Ibuprofen and Meftal

Hi, My son is having high fever since yesterday. We were giving calpol 250 5 ml. He is getting high fever every 4 hours and medicine was provided accordingly. We are living in abroad and we checked with emergency doctor through call and they asked to take ibuprofen. He is having it now. Still fever comes back within 4 to 5 hours. how often we can give ibuprofen Thanks in advance
