I have PCOD

I am 29 and i am married. I have PCOD. But i am not taking any treatment rightnow. I periods have been on n off. But haven't had since this February. I am trying to lose weight but so far i have not reduced much. Whay should i do? I am very stressed.

PCOD is due to weight gain which leads to irregular periods. check your thyroid also (TSH, FT4). avoid direct sugars in diet, regular exercise for 1hour daily. if no result then take Glycomet 500mg after dinner daily for 2months.

Hello there....., Consider dietary changes. Low-fat, high-carbohydrate diets may increase insulin levels, so you may want to consider a low-carbohydrate diet .....Limit less healthy, simple carbohydrates such as soda, excess fruit juice, cake, candy, ice cream, pies, cookies and doughnuts.... Consider medications to regulate your menstrual cycle..... Kindly consult your Gynecologist for further treatment....
