Am having 3 yrs old daughter age is 29, suffered from fecer 3 days before . Suddenly i got itching in my vegina watery white discharge no smell. My doctor examined my vagina and told mild erosion we need to go pap smear. And she says it need to be ruled out as pre cancerous condition. Really scared,she telling its advisable to take pap smear in once in lifetime. Really scared, mild erosion in cervix is such serious to rule out precancerous condition

Firstly an erosion cervix can't be a cause for vaginal itching. Secondly both, vaginal itching and erosion cervix, need to be evaluated and treated. Thirdly you should get a Pap smear done.

Yes you should go ahead with a Pap smear , as it is a screening test . No need to be scared as it is always better to diagnose it as early as possible. Every woman above the age of 21 has to get it done once in 3 years Thus, u can encourage your friends and family to donut as well. If u have any young girls around the age of 9-14 , you cab get them vaccinated .

Papsmear Is it test to find out infection and precancer  changes It needs to be taken every 3 years in low risk patients not once in a lifetime Rather than getting scared you should get the test done
