Require background info on past incidents for a proper therapeutic session. A person can live with mild mental illness so do not worry.I need info on your career.
Next Steps
Read good articles on people who lost body parts in accidents or having severe skin diseases, metabolic problems. People are living with ugly faces
Health Tips
If it has happened due to social media i will suggest you to continue your presence before others.  Continue visiting and meeting people in social parties. Have some real idea what others are saying about you. You will find majority's opinion. It will help you to discourage own single opinion best of luck

Hi, I hear you and I understand how difficult it might be to deal with Body dysmorphic disorder, anxiousness and negativity, but let me tell you that you are taking all the right steps forward! Reaching out is the most important step and you’ve already done that which is great. The best form of treatment for BDD ( Body Dysmorphic Disorder) is psychotherapy in combination with medication if required. CBT or cognitive behavioural therapy is a type of therapy that will help to replace unhealthy coping mechanisms with better healthy ones and also to identify unhealthy patterns in thinking and manage anxiety and negativity better. CBT will help you view yourself through a kinder and more forgiving lens. You can start by practising mindfulness.Try to pay attention to daily tasks like brushing your teeth, mopping the floor and so on. Try to focus on how the brush feels on your teeth, how the mop feels on the floor; this helps you become more mindful and relieve stress and anxiety. Practicing self care, doing something you enjoy or something that excites you also affects you positively. In addition to this you can also look for BDD support groups online or in person, where you would be able to interact with people who underwent similar experiences. It will create a sense of belongingness and make you feel less isolated. You’re going the right way, you will get through this!
