HSG test with Anesthesia

My HSG test needs to be done . I heard that it is painful test so I will go ahead with Anesthesia. Want to know how anesthesia will be given ? And how much time this process takes . After test can I go home immediately after the test if it is with anesthesia .

Most centers di not offer anesthesia U can request a paracervical block That is an injection is given in the vagina To numb the pelvic area Around ten min is the procedure time Yes u can go home immediately after hsg in paracervical block
