HSG test report

Plain radiograph: Bones and soft tissues of pelvis appear normal.                                              Uterus appears normal in size, shape and position.                                                                               Both fallopian tubes are normal in course and calibre.                                                                                There is intravasation of contrast in to venous system bilaterally in pelvis (right>left).                  There is doubtful intraperitoneal spillage of contrast (obscured due to intravasation).        Adv: Clinical correlation and further work up.              What does this mean? my both tubes are open or not??????

Tubes status is not clearly mentioned in the report. You need to either repeat test or some other test like Saline infusion sonihysterography or laproscopy. Connect for further information
