HPV Vaccination is generally recommended for people from the age of 9-10 years to 29 years. One may talk to his or her doctor if one is older than 30 years. So 31 is relatively late age for HPV vaccine. Gardasil is a good option. It covers HPV 16 and 18 strain. We see how many strains of vaccine are covered by the vaccine.

One can take it till 45 years of age but the benefit is doubtful if she is already infected with HPV. No specific precautions.
