How painful is root canal and capping

I have a tooth cavity. Doc recommends RCT and capping after that. How painful is the RCT. Quite afraid of the dental equipments although lolz.

Don't let the sights and sounds scare you. Rct is pain free when done under anaesthesia and proper medication. These days Rct can be done in single sitting also, unlike previous times.

Root canal treatment is not at all painful if done properly under the influence of local anaesthesia. Also crown is important after the rct which once the rct is done. There will be no pain in crowing
