My foot is fractured and is in a plaster since last two weeks. It still pains the same if it moves or if I try to use it. How long with the pain last? And how loose can the plaster be? Mine seems too loose, it's not actually touching the affected area
Need more details as to what fracture and it's details. Based on that we can decided if surgery is required or you can do away without surgery.
If plaster (cast) is applied over the fracture during first 2-3 days, the swelling subsequently comes down and the plaster becomes loose. It needs to be examined once to comment on if the plaster is too loose or right or adequately firm.
