Please tell me the no. of contact lense. My specs no. are as follows- left eye = - 14 cyl = 1.50 axis= 10 vision =6/9 right eye = - 17 cyl= 2 axis= 20 vision= 6/36

As you are having very high myopia so in my opinion you are not an ideal candidate for contact lenses . My suggestion is - just wait for one or two years & go for LASIK if all prerequisite parameters are within normal limit or go for refractive surgeries.

Visit an optometrist and they have algorithm which will derive the correct contact lens power.
