High myopia
I have high myopia. My prescription are
Left eye-14D with 1.5 Cyl and vision is 6/9
Right eye - 19D with 2.0 Cyl and vision is 6/36
I have progressive coates disease(retinal talengectasis) in my left eye which is treated by laser two times.
My age is 18+. Can I go for a ICL operation to remove my specs or it is not possible because of coates disease

Coats disease is not an absolute contraindication for vision correction surgeries. It’s just that you may need frequent retinal exams and/treatment. Moreover since you are high myopic the periphery of your retina needs frequent examination. In case there’s a hole or tear or bleeding in your retina that requires vitrectomy Surgery the presence of an Icl may interfere with diagnosis and or treatment. That’s the reason Eye doctors would caution you against vision correction procedures.
Having said that, these are hypothetical situations. Discuss with your eye doctor to get a realistic picture and then decide
