Hello Practo, This is Vikas, I got hospitalised last saturday that is on 23.7.22 for high grade fever of 104 with fading followed by acute cough and vomiting. BP dropped to 50/90 from 110/65.  There was also pain in the upper abdomen. Hence they conducted usg abdomen which appears normal. However the pain is on and off which subsides by pain killer through the IV. Dengue, MP, typhoid, covid is negative however the CBC shows infection. Blood culture is awaited .The WBC was higher 11030 cumm. There is slight increase in direct bilirubin 0.70. Liver function is also waited however the doctor said that there will be a certain increase in liver enzymes as well. The line of treatment is  antibiotic through IV, one injection for vomiting through IV, oral tablets Mucoscan plus, limcolite for cough and cold and dolo in case of fever today they added oilisivir and ajithromicin as well. Is this the correct line of treatment? now it seems I am having 3 tablets and 1 syrup for cough.
