High fever with chills

2024-01-10 19:35:25
My son is experiencing high fever from 2 days and he has been prescribed dolo mf alongwith moxkind. I was unsure of mefenamic acid that got banned recently but still giving as he is shivering a lot when in fever. Leg pains, headache is also there. His CRP level came as 14 and ESR is 19. But it's third day, neither the severity of fever has changed nor the frequency. What do I do? How long the child will suffer?

Hello, I hope your child is better now. But if the fever hasn’t subsided its best to consult with an expert. And get blood teats done to rule out the cause of fever.

Hello, I can understand that you are reasonably worried for your son's health, as I see this was written at midnight 2 Am. Fever is generally associated with infection, moxikind is an antibiotic; despite taking that he is not getting better can mean that the problem is viral or the bacteria is not responding to the class of antibiotic used.
Next Steps
what's ur sons age and weight? must do further tests to get a proper diagnosis. consult a physician to get prescription for further tests and change of antibiotics
Health Tips
give boiled eggs, do tepid sponging, hydrate well.
