Is active ileitis the cause behind elevated ferritin? My Hb was 9.1on 16th june..Now it is 8.2.. How will ferritin reduce? Also,how will I increase Hb without taking iron supplements?I'm taking high protein diet Kindly tell

Plz take  Iron rich food such as dates, jaggery, beans, green leafy vegetables. Alone high protein intake will  not help U need other vitamin supplements. Yes ferritin will be high in such infections  but it will be temporary rise. Plz consult for further  information
