High creatinine
Hello doctors- my uncle has got a creatinine level as 10 and has no symptoms at all ,he is still fine and good.Can creatinine be brought down with only medications without going to dialysis.
Creatinine is one of the markers for kidney function. The aim is not to bring down the creatinine but to support few of the functions of kidneys through dialysis. With the report of creatinine being 10, it implies that the kidney function is too low. Unless it is due to some acute insult, it is rarely reversible. So, to continue medications for supporting kidney functions and to prepare for dialysis, is the dictum.
