Hello Doctor, My mother is suffering from hypertension and under medication (amlodipine 2.5mg twice a day). Her cholesterol levels are high more than 400, her triglyceride level is more than 3000 which is very worrying. She recently had a stomach upset (vomiting for 3 days and had antacids) and have recovered a week before. She also had experienced partial facial paralysis similar to bells palsy. And her eyes had binocular vision and now recovering. So I am clueless what is causing all this. She had her food habits controlled recently and been eating rice ragi and wheat. Previously she used to have fried foods moderately. Can you please help find the root cause. I have performed MRI, ECHO and antibodies test in blood and nothing was alarming except her blood cholesterol. Can you please suggest what could be the cause and i don't want to make her have allopathic medicines for the rest of her life.
