Recently diagnosed my mother in law's lipid profile is completely out of range. What diet we can follow to bring her cholesterol under control

Avoid dating take. Take plenty of vegetables,fruits and greengram sprouts everyday. Substitute millets for rice/ wheat. Walking yoga for an hour is good. Drink enough water,buttermilk,everyday. Sleep liesurely for seven- right hrs every night. Avoid bakeryfoods,preserved foods,fastfoods spicy oilyfoods .

Hi, To control cholesterol level, lifestyle modification is required but a detailed information is required for specific recommendation. Include complex carbohydrates, fruits, vegetables in diet which will help to maintain cholesterol level and with that need increase activity level which will help to raise good cholesterol level. Choosing of cooking oil is very much important. Include double tonned milk , avoid ghee, margarine.
