High BPM and Bisoprolol 2.5 mg

I have increase in BPM 100 to 110 . Is it safe to take bisoprolol 2.5 mg  . Even if my BPM is in 85 or 90. Should I continue the tablet?.please help me on this . How long it will take efffect if I take the tablet?

Yes, it will reduce your heart rate.. It will be given if you have told your consultant increased heart rate.. Once your heart rate comes down you can stop gradually..

Taking the tablet without knowing the exact cause of high pulse rate Is never a good idea. Usually if the pulse is below hundred and BP is also normal you do not require the medicine. consult once To get a better idea
