My mother aged 66 yrs was perfectly healthy a few days ago. Her blood pressure was absolutely normal but suddenly her blood pressure rose to 174/105(Measured by Omron digital meter). Her blood pressure have been frequently measured 2 twice a day nd sometimes 165/100 and sometimes 179/105. She right now is not under any medicine. She is non diabetic. What should I do?

Record daily bp in the early morning jus after she wakes up in the bed itself without much activity....do this atleast for 3 days and see.....if it is less than 140 systolic ....nothing to worry
