Hello,
My wife had High BP ie., 160/100 a few days back and she was carrying. Recently she had C Section and delivered a baby boy. Post operation she had normal BP 80/120.
After she was discharged, doc suggested to keep checking for BP at least for 2 weeks. Day before yesterday she had 150/100 and doc suggested to take bed rest atleast for 2 months. She is also taking BP tablets Amlodipine 2.5mg
Still her BP is low. Can anyone suggest if this is normal or should change the tablets.
its a quite high bp pls monitor it thrice a day
also check for fever if any..her urination is proper or not..all her general i.e appetite stooll urine sleep energy level are normal or not..if much of them ate disturb immediately consult your doctor..
Next Steps
help her so that she can sleep properly.sleep disturbance after delivary can also allevuiate bp.as after surgery rest is must.

150/100 is not low BP. Please mention the proper blood pressure chart to your physician. And follow his/her advise depending upon the bp values.dont stop or change the dose on your own.
