I am 64 male, weigh 105kg with 10years diagnosed type 2 diabetes. On 500mg gluformin in morning and 250mg gluformin in evening . average reading fasting 120-130 and pp 180-250.

You should increase dose of metformin to 2 gm per day with the advice of treating doctor. You may try to lose weight by low carb diet. http://diabecity.co.in/how-to-lose-weight-without-exercise-and-diet-control/
