High Blood Pressure

Hi My dad had done with by-pass surgery in 2003. Usually his Bp is always on higher side Currently using : metxl 50 (twice a day) And ecosprin av 150/20 ( night time) This has been continuous from past 4years But still his BP shows as 150/100 He is paralysed from 2012. And his sugar levels will be on an avg 120 Please suggest if the tab metxl needs to be replaced or should use more power?

Consult a cardiologist Should add another drug preferably an ACE inhibitor or an ARB Dr Ashish Srivastava General Physician & Clinical Cardiologist

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  You need not change any medicines now. His body has become accustomed to this high level.
