Hiatus hernia

Hi, I am having Hiatus Hernia, is there any way to treat it with medicine ot surgery is the only option. It is causing so much acidity issue and mouth ulcer. Please suggest

It depends upon which type of hiatal hernia you are having . Symptoms that you are mentioning is more likely towards Type 1 hiatal hernia . So i would like to first see your Upper GI endoscopy report first or any report which mentioned it's hiatal hernia and then can only advice properly.  So kindly consult me on practo .

No surgery is the only option for hiatus hernia and share your endoscopy reports. Not all grades require surgery. For acidity u need to modify certain things. Such as decrease your spicy food intake, don't lie after eating, don't pick heavy objects, avoid constipation. For further management consult.
