When should hepatitis a vaccine be given to a baby..at one year or at 2 years..peadtriation have different views.
Hepatitis a is a viral disease of liver .a child is at risk of hepatitis a as soon as he starts consuming outside foods ie at 6 months onwards but as the immune system is still not mature enough so vaccination is advised at 12 months and to be repeated after 6 months as some kids might not be protected after the first dose.

get both doses and get them at 12 and 18 months

Now IAP advisory committee on vaccines and Immunisation practices has revised its recommendation on adminstration schedule of live attenuated hepatitis A vaccine.
Now a single dose of this vaccine is recommended at 12months of age
