Consult with a doctor
Online now
Mostly age related changes, no need of surgery as of now as there is not motor deficit ( which I suppose from your history) If there is any objective weakness in limbs (can only be ascertained after examination by a doctor ) - need to go for surgery .
Next Steps
now just take vit d and calcium supplements ( eg shelcal hd/ calcimax d3) and start pregabalin 75 bed time once daily ( may feel a little dizzy for 3-4 days initially , don't stop the meds- if very severe dizzy, stop ) and take RENERVE 1tab once daily at night for 1 month and wear soft neck collar, do neck physiotherapy.

Please consult the Doctor who advised MRI for the Spine. MRI should be assessed in relation to the symptoms and physical examination findings.

MRI report ke hisaab se cervical spine me spondylotic changes + disc bulges (C3–C7 levels) hain, jisse nerve roots par pressure aa raha hai — isi wajah se neck pain shoulder/arm tak radiate ho sakta hai. Good thing ye hai ki majority cases me surgery ki zarurat nahi hoti aur proper conservative treatment se relief mil jata hai As an orthopaedic resident, I commonly see such cases. Abhi ke liye: - Neck rest + prolonged bending/phone use avoid karein - Soft cervical support (short duration) use kar sakte hain - Physiotherapy (neck strengthening) important rahegi Agar arm me numbness, weakness ya pain increase ho raha ho to proper clinical evaluation zaroori hai. Aap chahein to report aur symptoms detail me review karke step-wise treatment plan guide kar sakta hoon.

He has stiffening of the backbone in neck, lumber region with deformity starting. This is normal degenerative changes with aging, varying in intensity and extent in different individuals. He should avoid bending from back  and neck, using high pillow, he should sit with support to back and  back should be straight. There is no medical treatment,  except pain killers to reduce pain, anti inflammatory drugs for reducing inflammation,  supplements for calcium and vit d3, b12,if found deficient clinically or by investigations. Regular exercises to strengthen muscles around neck and back will be useful Surgery is considered if problem is severe or disabling.
