Held urine for many hours.

2021-12-31 17:02:19
Hi, I was traveling today, and unfortunately due to heavy traffic and other busy schedules which were extremely important to take part in, I could not pass urine at a normal time. I had to hold urine for about 13 or 14 hours. I'm extremely worried if there will be any harm to the kidneys or other organs. Please help.

It should not cause much harm if done once, except for some pain and extra pressure to urinate. However, do not hold urine for longer durations too often, as it can be harmful  if done often.

For one day it doesn't cause any harm, but may cause dark yellowish and acidic urine. Drink lot of fluids, and don't repeat holding urine.
