Or van you recommend me other options so that my height can increase. One more thing my dad and mom are both of good height specially my dad.

For girls, growth typically slows down after the onset of menstruation (menarche), usually within 2 years after that. If you haven’t grown since 12, it’s likely that your growth plates (epiphyses) may have fused — and once that happens, height increase is no longer possible naturally or with medication. A simple X-ray of the left hand and wrist (called a bone age X-ray) can confirm whether your growth plates are still open. Advise: 1. Visit an Endocrinologist: Ask for tests: • Bone age X-ray • Growth hormone levels • Thyroid function • Puberty hormone levels (LH, FSH, estradiol) 2. Nutrition and Lifestyle: • Ensure a high-protein, calcium-rich diet (milk, tofu, pulses, green veggies). • Vitamin D and calcium supplements if needed. • Regular exercise, especially stretching, swimming, skipping, and yoga. Somatropin is a synthetic form of human growth hormone (HGH). 1. It’s only given when there’s proven growth hormone deficiency (GHD), confirmed by blood tests and hormone stimulation tests. 2. Giving it without deficiency won’t help and can cause serious side effects (e.g., joint pain, insulin resistance, swelling, abnormal bone growth). 3. It’s an injectable and not a tablet

Thanks for sharing. At 16, your growth may still continue slightly, but since your height hasn’t changed since 12, it’s important to understand the cause before thinking about any medication. Taking growth hormone like somatropin without medical testing and supervision can be **unsafe and harmful** if not truly needed. Your body’s growth depends on many factors—genes, hormones, nutrition, and bone maturity. 👉 I suggest you consult me directly so we can assess whether further tests or safe options are needed: [https://www.practo.com/rewa/doctor/amit-kumar-patel-generalphysician](https://www.practo.com/rewa/doctor/amit-kumar-patel-generalphysician)

First: Understanding Growth and Height at Your Age • For most girls, height growth slows after the first period (menarche) and typically stops around 2 years after that, which is usually by 15–16 years. • The growth plates in your bones fuse after puberty, making further natural height increase very unlikely. • However, if your bone age is less than your actual age, growth may still be possible.
