Heavy Snoring during sleep

Hi, I snore very loudly during sleep and am also drowsy during the day despite 8 hours sleep. However I never just fall asleep during day, say while eating or driving. Could this be due to sleep disorders? What kind of doctor should I go and see? I heared sleep studies are expensive and not covered by health insurances, is it possible to get it reimburshed by insurance ?

I think it is worth spending money on the same as if OSAit definitely needs to be addressed or it may last to other problems like diabetes , hypertension , heart disease , stroke etc. Consult a pulmonologist for the same at the earliest
