Heartbeat of fetal gone at 10 weeks.
I’m here to share something deeply unfortunate that recently happened to me. I am working professional turned 29 recently.I conceived through IUI, However, during my third-month NT scan, we received devastating news that the baby’s heartbeat had stopped at 10weeks and there is thick irregular poor decidual reaction in tvs . It’s been incredibly hard for us to process and accept this loss.
I can’t help but feel a sense of guilt, wondering what went wrong or if I failed in some way. I’m struggling to understand why this happened.
I’d really appreciate it if you could help me understand the possible reasons behind this and whether it might affect future pregnancies.

In most of the cases no cause can be assigned. Whether IVF or normal conception, about 20-25% of all pregnancies end in abortion. And in most of these patients no cause can be assigned. They are labelled as "genetic causes" but without scientific proof.

I’m sorry for your loss. I know it’s not easy to accept, but please don’t blame yourself .
Unfortunately early trimester losses are most commonly due to any chromosomal abnormalities .

The most common reason is genetic abnormalities
You would require detailed investigations to find out the reason
To prevent such a mishap in future a very simple way of taking folic acid supplements regularly 3 months prior to conception can help
