Hi Doctor, I am in my 6th week as per the records and  I went for abdominal ultrasound but doctor said no heart beat and visit after 2 weeks, am I need to concern here and also am but confused about the weeks not sure how to calculate my menstrual cycle is 26days everytime and my last period was on 9th October 2024 (started )and ended on 13th October and intercourse happens on 17th October 2024. Not sure am in which week and concerned about the heartbeat. Can you please clarify?

According to your last menstrual period,you r baby would be 6 weeks. Are your period cycle regular? Fetal heartbeat eat is seen around 7 weeks;I would suggest not to worry and repeat the scan after a week or two. Meanwhile, continue taking your folic acid supplements.’

Repeat ultrasound after after 10 days Heart beat is usually visible around 7 weeks.
