My mother is having hearing difficulty for so long, want her to provide hearing aid, need to know what are the requirements and tests needed to get her the best fit hearing aid.

First an ENT specialist needs to examine her ears to rule out wax or any infection. Once it is clear, then she will need a Pure Tone Audiometry and sometimes an Impedance Audiometry. Depending on the findings, a hearing aid on one side or both sides would be prescribed.
