Hi All, My 7-month-old son’s head circumference is 47 cm. Is it above the normal range? I visited a couple of dr's they say it's ok as per genetics

good morning., sir it is definitely high.. i seen a child with hydrocephalus. I will advise Contrast MRI, it is matter of CNS. any abnormality !!! in hands of radiologist, it is a regular practice I will be interested to know the out come

Purely based on the head size, the circumference is beyond upper limit of normal, however to be sure we need growth records and prenatal and birth history to guide you better.
