Head ache and digestion related

2017-02-15 05:17:11
I seem to get headache on left side of head starting at the eyebrow area when i eat food not prepared at home. After a while this is followed by vomiting even when i have water, and there is uneasiness till anything eaten/water taken is vomited. It does not happen all the time but any spicy preparation increases chances of this happening. Felt this last week and consulting doctor at work said this is gastroenteritis. after that, any slightly spicy food causes burning sensation in the stomach. Also, i have disturbed sleep because i attend to my 2.5 year baby. This combined with my office schedule, i tend to feel headache and tiredness in my head/shoulder are sometimes. Please suggest an ayurvedic treatment/process for my concerns.

Hi! Your symptoms more of headache than acid peptic disease, seems like migraine. You need to know precipitating factors for this like Stress, travel, hurry/worry/ curry!! Some solutions are practice meditation, join some hobey, avoid precipitating factors. Consult Neuro physician if symptoms bother you every week.

Hi.... Eat smaller, more-frequent meals. If you experience frequent indigestion, try eating several small meals instead of three large ones whenever you can.... Avoid irritating foods. Avoid foods that irritate your stomach, especially those that are spicy, acidic, fried or fatty.... Get enough sleep, but don't oversleep. Get an adequate amount of sleep each night. It's best to go to bed and wake up at regular times, as well. Rest and relax. If possible, rest in a dark, quiet room when you feel a headache coming on.
