Normally a small size of baby's head signifies that the factors causing restricted growth of the baby have been operative for a very long time. That,in turn, shows that there could be inadequate maternal nutrition or there could be some factors in the baby which prevented its growth.
But in your case BPD is normal but head circumference is low. Head circumference is directly proportional to the BPD (that is diameter). It is quite possible that the discrepancy between the two could be due to an unusual position of the baby's head at the time of ultrasound.
I suggest you get your sonography repeated after two weeks.
