Hi . My brother hba1c reading was 9.5 3 months back. Now after regular excercise and diet, it has reduced to 6 without medication. Does it mean that he has diabetes??

Yes. If the second report is reliable then it’s diabetes which controlled on diet and exercise as of now

HbA1C gives 3 month average blood sugar. 3 months back, it was high, which means it was having diabetes. Now it's 6, which means blood sugar is under control after lifestyle modification. Continue diet control and exercise, and check HbA1C after 3 months
