Your third molar or wisdom tooth is the reason for your pain. It is vertically impacted meaning the tooth is not going to come out like your other teeth. Third molar removal in mid 20s to mid 30s is common and accepted therapy .While the process may give you some discomfort (minimal to no pain -if done properly) and some food restrictions will be there, but it should lead to better result and complete alleviation of pain.
