Having Harper's zoster from last 5 days and seems to have improvement taking Aciclovir 400 mg ( 3 time a day). 1. How many days it should be taken 2. There is an improvement and any other medicine to be taken Regards Col BK Gupta

It's in healing phase ... acyclovir 800mg five times aday for 5 days...along with few antineuralgic pain related tablets and creams needed... ophthalmic involvement must be ruled out...do online private consultation and I will prescribe u treatment

Hi Sir. If your renal profile  is normal you can take tab Acyclovir 800mg 5 times per day for 7 days with lot of fluids intake. Apply fudic cream for the affected area. If no pain or burning sensation this would be sufficient. And also let us know any eye symptoms.  Ophthalmologist opinion is also needed
