Hairline fracture

I had a hairline fracture in Dec 2017 and had a plaster for 1 month. I still feel pain as I walk in Mar 2018 after 2 months of injury. How long does it generally take to heal and walk normally? Do physiotherapy sessions help and are a must? (hairline fracture at little toe bone also called metadarsal)

Metatarsal fracture. Hi. I'm surprised the plaster was not kept for the full course of six weeks. Fracture of this magnitude should heal completely with in six weeks of immobilisation. After the cast is removed few exercises are to be incorporated which will get the affected part moving.
Next Steps
Take out an xray to see if the fracture has healed completely. Consult your orthopedist for peace of mind.
Health Tips
If the pain is not too much or negligible then you can start with light exercises such as ankle toe movements, fanning the toes, clenching the toes. Physiotherapy is always helpful. Also wear proper footwear.
