He is scared visiting docs, not able to get the cavity issue resolved due to his fear. We had multiple visit to pacify him but to no avail

Hi. As per your history,its essential you motivate kid by telling you are visiting toy shop after parents dental care. You should sit first in dental chair,to give him example. Never say it will not hurt you etc... Dentist also must be competent and helpful in keeping everything fearless .Don't make it special visit.
