Growth of the baby

I am using a milestone tracker and my baby's growth seems to be slow accrodubg to the tracker? How can I identify if there is really a problem and how to take care of it?

Milestone tracking has to better done by someone who knows the limits of normal .Development is cephalocaudal it means it starts from head to toe.so a child should be managing his neck by 3 months of age. Should be sitting by 6 months of age. Should be walking by 12 to 15 months. 20% deviation in time is acceptable.

It is good that you are tracking Milestones. There is a wide variation or range in which children achieve their milestones, for example some infants walk by 11 months, few walk by 15 months both of which are normal. But if the child does not walk by 18 months then the child needs to be seen by a pediatrician. In summary if your child's milestones are within the accepted range I would not worry, but beyond that the child needs to be seen by a pediatrician
