My daughter is having grade 3 tonsils do we need to remove it through surgery or can it be treated with medication

It depends on how frequently are the symptoms occuring. Symptoms include high fever, sore throat, difficulty in swallowing food, mouth breathing/snoring at night. If these symptoms are causing hindrance in her day to day activities, it is better to go ahead with surgery. If not, then a wait and watch approach can be taken provided your daughter is growing adequately for her age and is not having any problems at school.
