Grade 3 ACL Tear in Left Knee

I got an injury in left  knee while playing volleyball 🏐 and after conducting 1.5T MRI the report says its a grade 3 ACL tear. So i want to know is it curable or not or is it compulsory to go through ACL surgery. I am attaching my Report please give me solution.

The MRI is suggestive of ACL tear along with medial and lateral Meniscal injuries. ACL reconstruction along with meniscal repair/debridement are required. This being said, whether to undergo surgery or not purely depends on the clinical examination and symptoms. MRI films give us a better picture.

If you want to play sports again... Go for surgery Otherwise for a desk job.. physiotherapy can be tried If no relief then .. surgery

Grade 3 tear of ACL will require surgical reconstruction of the ligament.. There is also tear of posterior horn of medial meniscus.. That also needs assessment intraoperatively and some procedure may be required for that as well..

You should visit a nearby hospital and plan the procedure after consultation with the surgeon.

Use Long Knee Brace for support. Avoid excessive bending of knee joint..
