1 eye is damaged due to glucoma.. doctors remove the cataract in the operation.. can the vision be stored by placing lens???and how safe is the other eye?

The restoration of vision will depend on the basis of loss already caused by glaucoma. The other eye is also likely to have glaucoma and if there is raised IOP then you must take regular treatment without fail otherwise you are likely to loose/get gradual diminution of vision in other eye too. One thing to be noted that the loss caused by glaucoma is not recoverable.
