A slightly low globulin (2.7 g/dL) with a mildly high A:G ratio (1.74) is usually not clinically significant, especially when other liver and kidney tests are normal. In your case, this pattern commonly reflects mild protein imbalance or reduced globulin production, which can be seen with early fatty liver (grade 1), dietary protein issues, or dehydration—not a serious disease.
Next Steps
No specific medication is required for these values alone. Focus on managing fatty liver with lifestyle measures. Your doctor may repeat LFTs and total protein after 3–6 months. If globulin keeps falling or you have recurrent infections, further evaluation (immunoglobulin levels) may be considered.
Health Tips
Increase dietary protein (pulses, eggs, fish, curd, paneer), reduce sugar and refined carbs, avoid alcohol, and aim for regular exercise and weight control. Do not start protein powders or medicines without advice.

Your globulin level (2.70) is slightly below the typical range, and your A/G ratio (1.74) is slightly elevated. A high A/G ratio with low globulin often suggests that your body has a relative decrease in certain proteins produced by the immune system or liver. Grade 1 Fatty Liver: This is the earliest stage of fatty liver disease, where excess fat is stored in liver cells but hasn't yet caused significant inflammation or damage.
Next Steps
Consult a Physician: Share these results with your doctor to see if further tests like Serum Protein Electrophoresis (SPEP) or Liver Function Tests (LFTs) are needed to identify which specific globulins are low. Medication: Grade 1 fatty liver typically does not require specific medication. It is usually managed through lifestyle changes unless your doctor identifies other underlying metabolic issues. Retest: Doctors often recommend retesting these values in 3–6 months to see if they stabilize or improve with lifestyle changes.
Health Tips
Manage Fatty Liver: Focus on a "liver-healthy" diet rich in antioxidants and healthy fats (like the Mediterranean diet) and limit added sugars and alcohol. Hydration: Stay well-hydrated before your next blood test, as dehydration can artificially concentrate blood proteins and skew the A/G ratio. Protein Intake: Ensure you are consuming adequate high-quality protein (lean meats, legumes, eggs) to support your liver's protein production. Physical Activity: Regular exercise is one of the most effective ways to reduce fat in the liver and improve overall metabolic health.

A mildly low globulin level and slightly high albumin globulin ratio is usually not significant if other tests are normal. You don't need any medication or imaging for this. Grade 1 fatty liver is common and often reversible with lifestyle changes like healthy diet, regular exercise, weight control, and avoiding alcohol.

Are you having any symptoms....?? If you consume alcohol then stop it because alcohol can cause fatty liver. If don't consume alcohol then by wt reduction and simple carb restriction further progression of fatty liver can be stopped. You can consult gastro for further evaluation and management.
