Gliclazide 80 and metformin

My father age is 72 years and he is type to diabetic his recent hbA1c report is 7.8 he was prescribed zoryl m2 before by the doctor, he is out of station now I have shared his report then he suggested me gliclazide 80 and metformin is it beneficial for older people pls confirm me

Hi., I can understand your concern. Kindly share his FBS and PPBS levels. Based on the levels, we can decide either gliclazide is needed or not.
